Distribution & Exchange Services

MCD carry out Distribution services for some of the biggest names in the appliance marketplace including Electrolux Group, DAD, Smeg, 2MD, Fisher & Paykel, CDA, Miele, Montpellier and Rangemaster. We have a modern and reliable fleet consisting of Mercedes and Renault 3.5, 7.5 & 18 tonne vehicles with assisted tail- lifts delivering throughout Scotland, The North of England and North Wales Monday to Friday. We endeavour to deliver all goods within 5 working days from date of order (subject to stock availability).  Once you order has been placed we will contact you directly to discuss delivery options and carry out a short survey with regards to access, parking etc and will deliver to the address specified by you at the time of order. Under our terms and conditions a signiture must be obtained at point of delivery.

Delivery will be carried out by our fully employed two-man team to enable an efficient and safe service direct to site, showroom or the end consumer.  MCD will carry out delivery into the property and ensure all goods are satisfactory.  Please make the MCD Team aware of any challenging or difficult scenarios/restrictions i.e. Stairs or Parking Restrictions at time of order.  All delivery and installation teams  are CSCS certified and our vehicles are MCD branded.

If for any reason beyond our control we are unable to supply a particular item we will notify you as soon as possible. If we are unable to deliver because:

  • Your signature is not available
  • There is no access
  • Delivery is refused

We will return all goods to our warehouse and you will be contacted asap to arrange a second delivery date.Our distribution department do carry out verbal pre-delivery surveys with the customer to ensure all areas are covered including access, parking and possible restrictions minimising the need for a second visit.

Our dedicated exchange department handle all communication with the end user to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the exchange process. Our highly skilled Installers are trained in all appliance brands to provide a one-hit installation service that minimises disruption for the customer.

Our three branches are strategically placed to cover Scotland, the North of England and North Wales and our combined Warehouse space provides additional storage for each of our brands allowing MCD to accomodate the customer requirements. Please be aware all communication for distribution and exchange must go through the relevant manufacturers or the original point of purchase.
